About Me

I've always loved baking, and would like to continue sharing my love for baking with others.
SUPER GALORIAN:
First Gluten-free, Dessert, and Curd on Galora, in Los Angeles, and in California
THE BAKER:
I've always loved baking, and would like to continue sharing my love for baking with others.
THE BATCH:
I do gluten-free desserts (having been diagnosed with celiac disease about a decade ago) and like to feature ingredients that have been grown and/or purchased locally when possible.
THE VARIETY:
Basically you name it, and I'd like to make it for you! Perhaps you want some basic chocolate chip cookies or a red velvet cake. I got you! Or maybe you're craving tres leches or flan. I got you! Summertime sadness? How about a blueberry pie? I got you! I recently purchased a lot of mangoes, papaya, and dragon fruit at the 7th St. Produce Market in DTLA and recently procured some amazing passion fruits from a local Galora user (Thuy Tran) in the area and would like to feature them in my baking if you'd like.
OTHER OFFERS:
I have also some fresh mango curd and fresh passion fruit curd made this week that would be available for immediate pickup. If you have something else in mind let me know and I can make it for you!
THE SHARE:
I'm happy to do this for a reasonable trade or a donation; with profits being donated to non-profit/community-based organization of my choosing. Any donation needs to cover at least the cost of ingredients. Please note I am doing this for fun and to raise money for causes important to me and the community in which I live. I am not a professional baker or cake decorator, so while I always put my best foot forward, I can't guarantee it will be beautiful or bakery-level presentation - but I can promise it will be tasty!
CUSTOMIZATION:
I can do some basic cake and pie decorating, but my stuff definitely will look homemade! I can make an item you request, or I can surprise you, or you can give me a general sense of what you want and I can choose what it will be! Let me know what you'd like and your donation amount, and by when you would like it and I will get to work!
PICKUP:
I work a 9-5 M-F, so if you want an item during that time, you will need to come pick it up. On the weekends or after hours, I am happy to deliver to your location but ask that you consider that in your donation.
THE PROOF:
You can see some photos of some more recent creations: tres leches cake, tarts, madeleines, all kinds of cookies, candies, etc. Drop me a message if you are interested!
I live in DTLA. If you choose to pickup, I can meet you downstairs since street parking is hard to come by. Also happy to deliver to your home or meet you somewhere for delivery.
Gluten-free, but not good for you! Good for the soul!

August 9, 2020 at 4:51 pmEveryone keeps baking sourdough bread and pies and cookies during this pandemic while my oven sucks and I’m not a baker nor do I aspire to be one. I am, however, an immigrant rights activist with a sweet tooth. Enter Kevin! I ordered a blueberry pie from him and it did NOT disappoint! The pie was not too sweet yet delicious! It definitely satisfied my craving for a homemade good. And he amazingly decorated it with the words “ABOLISH ICE.” A man after my own heart! I paid a bit extra than the overhead costs for the pie which he donated to RAICES in Texas. Home-baked goods for a cause? 10/10! Thanks, Kevin!
