We operate a nonprofit farm in downtown San Jose. We teach people how to grow their own food. Everything we grow is given to volunteers “for free” in exchange for volunteer time. After every session, we harvest whatever is available and send it home with folks. (Based on the season we have potatoes, herbs, onion, greens, microgreens, tomatoes, etc.)
